Connecting MetaMask Guide
Description
MetaMask is a browser extension and mobile application designed to make accessing the world of DeFi easier. It also serves as a wallet for holding tokens and allowing users to access multiple services via the wallet. MetaMask provides the simplest yet most secure way to connect to blockchain-based applications. You are always in control when interacting on the new decentralized web.

Step 1
Download and install the official MetaMask extension for your browser. Note that you will need one of the following browsers to use MetaMask: Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge or Opera.

Once installed, you should see the introductory window. Click on the Create a wallet button.

You’ll then be asked if you want to help improve MetaMask by letting the service collect some of your data. Choose I agree if you feel like doing that, otherwise choose No thanks.

After that, create a password (8 characters min) for your account.

Next, you need to secure a wallet. A randomly generated Secret Recovery Phrase is used for that. Write it down in the same order as shown on the screen, keep it in a safe place and never show it to anyone. This phrase is used to recover the access to the wallet should you ever lose access to your computer or whatever.

Confirm your backup phrase on the next screen by entering the words in the same order as saved previously. Choose Confirm once done. Congratulations, you successfully created the wallet! Just choose Got it! and Done, and you will be automatically logged in to MetaMask. Congratulations!

To connect the wallet to the Nimbus Platform, click on the Connect my wallet button in the upper right-hand corner of the Platform interface. Choose MetaMask from the list of suggested wallets and enter the password that you set for your account. The MetaMask software will ask you to sign the signature request to link the wallet to the Platform. The action needs to be done only once. After that, you can log in to the Nimbus Platform using your MetaMask wallet!
