Nimbus Token System

NIMB token was launched on September 2, 2022. Starting from this date and for the period of 90 days NIMB token is available only for Affiliated Program 4.1 and Institutional services users of Nimbus Platform. During this period NIMB token will not have its own market price and will be in full correlation with NBU price.

Starting from December 1st, 2022 NIMB token is available for all Nimbus products and paired with other tokens (BNB and GNIMB). At the same time, the Nimbus Converter will be launched for NIMB token and NBU holders will be available to change NBU to NIMB at the 1:1 rate.

The mint function of NIMB is limited by the total supply of 10B tokens, which will be issued portionnaly depending on the demand and market conditions. 1B NIMB tokens are reserved for wrapping process of NBU to NIMB.

NIMB token’s use cases are exactly the same as ones of the NBU token. Within the period of 12-14 months NIMB token will fully replace NBU token and will become the only key to all Nimbus Platfrom products.

The new Nimbus Platform governance token GNIMB is launched with the primarily goal of improving the governance process of the Platform. During the transition period, GNIMB token will fully replace GNBU token. During the transition period when both tokens will be presented on the market, their total will remain the same - 100,000,000 tokens.

This means that the Platform will burn old GNBU tokens in portions during the transition period and portionally issue the equal amount of GNIMB tokens. The total supply for GNIMB will also remain 100,000,000 tokens after the transition period.

Tokenomics and use cases of GNIMB will be the same as GNBU. Nimbus Converter will be launched along with GNIMB to make the transition easier. The exchange rate between GNIMB and GNBU is 1:1.
