To ensure the Nimbus ecosystem functions properly, we've introduced 4 types of tokens with one more token coming. Each token is based on audited tokenomics and provides distinct use cases.

GNIMB Token

GNIMB is the new governance token of the Nimbus Platform. GNIMB is a refactored GNBU contract with the total supply of 100,000,000 tokens. During the transition period, GNIMB will fully replace GNBU. The new Nimbus Platform GNIMB token was launched due to necessary changes that will be implemented in the future Nimbus DAO. GNIMB launch date is 16 November, 2022.

NIMB Token

NIMB is the new utility token of the Nimbus Platform. NIMB is a refactored NBU contract with an emission limit of 10,000,000,000 NIMB tokens — versus the NBU supply that’s capped at 1,000,000,000 NBU. NIMB is launched due to the new user growth and higher demand. Users will be able to swap NIMB with BNB and GNIMB starting from 1st December, 2022.

GNBU Token

GNBU is a governance token that enables you to join the decision-making of the Platform. It will be replaced by a new GNIMB governance token after the end of the transition period. GNIMB token was launched on November 16th, 2022.

NBU Token

NBU is the platform utility token which is a key to all Nimbus solutions. It provides access to 15 revenue-generating opportunities with different APRs. The Platform rewards are also received in NBU. Finally, users can swap NBU at exchanges. Starting from December 1st, 2022 and during the transition period, NBU will be fully replaced by a new NIMB token.
